I have to get plastic suregery…

April 11, 2008 at 11:16 pm (friends, fun, love, music, shows)

Yep. It’s true. I have to because I don’t even have a face anymore. It melted off at the concert! Switchfoot was absolutely INCREDIBLE! WOW… a british band called Athlete also played and Emery. I’d never heard of them before but they were great. Their keyboard/vocalist Josh Head was simply amazing! I think it could almost be deemed dangerous for someone to have that much energy! TWLOHA was there too, which is a movement I have been spreading around my school. towriteloveonherarms.com

Pretty sure my life is basically complete. 😉

March 23, 2008 at 10:14 am (and...ACTION!, birthday, blog, friends, fun, life, music, orchard valley, people, school, shows)

Yes, I know I am lame lame lame.

So here’s what’s gone on in the past…oh jeez…month?

Emma came!

The musical was AMAZING!

Got a part in the jazz choir (only 7 people did so i guess that’s pretty good)

Got the part of Belle for the upcoming Disney thing. More on that later.

Great BIRTHDAY!

Hel-yeah-icopter egg drop yesterday at The Orchard.

Today I’m on my way home to Chicago to go to the Easter service at my old church.

Happy Easter to everybody!

Disappointment, Excitement, and a New Blog

December 20, 2007 at 4:23 pm (blog, christmas, friends, orchard valley, shows, youth group)

I have been hopelessly and sickeningly stingy with the blog lately as I’m sure you would agree but anywho, in other news, I didn’t make the musical (I am on 3 tech crews though), Christmas is only in 5 days now!!!, and the youth group is getting their own blog! Administered by the one and only Ben Hammond the Great. Come check us out!

Auditions Part Tres

December 13, 2007 at 9:11 am (and...ACTION!, music, school, shows)

Dancing went really great. We only had 5 minutes to learn a whole dance, 8 minutes to practie it, and then we had to perform it. I thought I did pretty good though! I will find out in a few minutes if I got a callback or not.

Audtions Part 2

December 11, 2007 at 8:49 pm (and...ACTION!, fun, music, people, school, shows)

Today went considerably better. I’m very glad. Monologue went smooth and my scene was with Tommy and Griffen who are both incredible actors so that made me look even better.

Hopefully things will even out. =)

Musical Audtions…

December 10, 2007 at 7:26 pm (awkward, life, music, oops, pain, shows)

….were terrible.

Today was the singing portion. I have practiced SO much, perhaps TOO much. When I got up there I totally geeked out, forgot the words and messed up the notes. AND I didnt do the acting I was going to.

To top it all off I did it right in front of all the best singers in the district, whom I wanted to prove to that, just because I’m not in their level choir that I’m still capable of music. There goes that. =(

I’m pretty upset.

Alright.

November 3, 2007 at 10:44 am (blog, music, people, shows, thoughts)

I realize that I happened to rejoin the blogging world at a particularly busy time in my life. Therefore, my blog has desprately been lacking a proper post. It mainly consists of little snippets and not even full thoughts. I’ll try to make some time more often.

But first, one more small thought I have to throw in here.

I’ve never been a huge Elton John fan but I have a new appreciation once I found out that he is the one who originally sang Your Song from Moulin Rouge. Of course I love the Ewan McGregor version a million times more, but still….
